BITE Records EP Templates

A selection of EP template designs for BITE Records, a Berlin-based record label focused on cutting edge techno. All sleeve and label designs were created to use across multiple releases with bulk print runs to save costs, so the solutions had to be flexible enough to account for varying images, text, and colors. The first series had more maximal, layered graphics in 3 colorways to choose from, with stickered images on the lower right corner distinguishing different releases. Subsequent designs became more minimal with only stickered graphics or labels inspired by the cleaner “white label” look of classic techno records, while maintaining slick snake imagery that grounds the subversive, contemporary perspective of the label. All images and photos varying among the templates were provided by other artists and photographers connected to the label.
