Bay Area Retrograde (BART) Vol. 1+2 Compilations

Art direction and full package design of two vinyl compilations BART Vol. 1+2 of underground synth music from San Francisco and the greater Bay Area in the 1980s released on Dark Entries Records. The title plays off the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) transportation system, and the covers feature original illustrations from a vintage BART map. All images were sourced from vintage printed ephemera of the bands or Bay Area print archives and collaged in new compositions. They are packaged in double-sided, large format posters that unfold to reveal art and liner notes on the inside.
